March is drawing to a close and I'm trying to decide whether or not to order the gymanstics outfit that's on sale. I like the Olympic theme, but I just don't see myself getting too much use out of it...

Any opinions?

My daughter has had this outfit for about a year and a half now. You're right - I don't see it on her dolls that much.

That being said, it is very cute and well made. The leotard is quite pretty and the warm-up suit could just be worn as casual wear.

DD got this outfit when it first came out. She saved for it and purchased it with her own money so maybe it is special to her. Her dolls wear it often! Sometimes the leotard on one doll and the warmup on another. Like Molly-Felicity said the warmup is great by itself.

I bought this last month when it wasn't on sale of course. I think it is wonderful. The only problem is that the knit gets picked easily by the velcro.

My GD takes gymnastics and she loves the outfit.

One of my dolls will definitely be an olympian. I wrote a short story that won a prize back in my freshman year of high school about an ice skater in the olympics ( I was really into it then, and rooting strongly for a gold). The flowers and the medal are enough for me, but the sweats are definitely a plus!
I intend on having an olympian, a Nigerian princess, a Japanese princess, and a wealthy aristocrat all be friends in a story...hmmm.

I had really never planned to get this outfit because my dolls just don't wear "activity outfits" very much. But my mom ended up getting it for me for Christmas, because I used to do gymnastics and so she thought my dolls should, too. The outfit is really cute and you get a lot with it - the shoes, handgrips, flowers, gold medal. And like the others have said, one doll can wear the warmup and one the leotard, or the warmup jacket or pants can be used for casual wear. It is a really nice set; I guess it just depends on if the use you'll get out of it is worth the price.
